Fourth week in a row NO rejection. So happy when Jim got the phone call. Got to talk with Dr. McGiffin who did the surgery today. What a happy, sweet man.
We celebrated on Sunday, June the 23rd a month since his transplant by worshipping God. Jim was asked to lead the opening prayer at the Adamsville church of Christ.
We feel blessed beyond measure to continue to hear the doctors say that they are so pleased. Dr. Tallaj says that he is way above the curve.
He still has pain in his chest from time to time and some nerve pain in his leg. Other than that he is doing great. In the past 8 days, I have walked over 18 miles. That is because I am trying to stay by his side as he walks. Isn't that CRAZY?
We serve an Amazing God. We are so thankful to have this time. We know we have a long road ahead but with God, we can do all things.
Thank you God for one more day!
